By Bike

The city is easily accesible from south by bike from Dunakeszi on the cycle path in line with the Danube. From north you can arrive from Szob through  Zebegény-Nagymaros-Verőce. From the cycle path turn left at the ferry station (Eszterházy str.) to get to the downtown.

By Car

From Budapest on the road no.2 or on the motorway M2.
If you arrive from road no.2 (from Sződliget) you have to turn left at the "MOL" Patrol Station to Budapesti Főút (street). On the left hand side you find the Géza Király Square, where you can park for free. (Free parking is also available on the Danube side) From the Square the downtown and the Main Square is only a few minutes walk.
If you arrive from Budapest on the M2 , take the exit at Szödliget, and go on the road no.2.

Bus

From Budapest by sceduled buses from Station Árpád Bridge. From the bus station at Vác 5 minutes walk to the Main Square.

Budapest Nyugati pályaudvaron a Szob felé közlekedő zónázó vonatra  kell felszállni. Vácott a vonatról leszállva a Széchenyi utcában kell elsétálni a Március 15. térig (Főtér). Vonat menetidő  zónázó vonatok esetében 25 perc, majd Vácott 10 perc könnyű séta)
You have to take the fast train towards Szob at the West Train Station. After getting out from the building of the station go straight ahead on Széchenyi Street until the Március 15. Square (Main Square).
